You are not the only one looking to do this! It is a huge area, with lots of different opportunities. However the first thing you should really do is to get a website. You can then sign up to different organisations that have products you can promote. The two most popular are clickbank.com and commissionjunction.com. I would really also recommend joining warriorforum.com. I am developing a site all about affiliate marketing and niche marketing. You can find this at niche365.com. There is also a new product coming out soon called Trifilliate Payday. There is a review of this at trifilliate-paydayreview.com. It looks like a promising method to enable you to start creating income from affiliate marketing as you build your list. Hope this helps.
